Intervention

Family Interventions
You don’t have to be an alcoholic or an addict to suffer from alcoholism or addiction. Throughout the world, family members affected by a loved one’s addiction have endured significant loss, pain and frustration. Over time, the entire family suffers the effects of living under the umbrella of addiction – generally without even recognizing it and without recognizing the many problems that lie just beneath the surface.
There is often pain and frustration combined with failed attempts to control the situation. But no matter what has been tried, things usually keep getting worse until, out of desperation or genuine fear for someone’s safety, the call goes out for help. Intervention can play an important first step in the road to recovery by relieving suffering and beginning the healing process. It recognizes some obvious economics at work, geared to helping executives and business partners return to valued productivity, as opposed to the often more expensive challenges of replacing them.
